MSAD #60 is a three town school district in the southwest corner of Maine which borders New Hampshire and is very close to the beautiful coast of Maine. Student population is around 3,100 for the K-12 district. It is fairly rural in nature and strives to be an educational leader in the state. Recent initiatives are all day kindergarten, adding a fifth year of Math at the high school level, increasing literacy standards and hiring additional English staff, expanding the summer school program.
